Expansion of banking service

16/07/2008 12:44:00 PM
The Commonwealth Bank in Narromine has recently extended its existing branch to a new, full-service offering with all current staff continuing on and providing complete banking and financial solutions to local residents.

Branch manager Bec Wren, who has worked for the Commonwealth Bank for the past 17 years and spent 10 of those in the central west, is excited about the expansion of the branch.

“The Narromine team has always prided itself on providing professional and friendly customer service, but the expansion will increase our presence in town and enable us to offer more specialist services,” she said.

“I am particularly excited about the benefits the changeover will bring for the community, we will be able to take our customer service to new levels and really focus on the financial needs of the Narromine community and surrounding areas.”

Existing staff members and local residents Lyndall Cross, James Barker and Yvonne Hofman are continuing at the Narromine branch and bring 20 years of knowledge and experience in the finance industry between them.

“Because we live locally, we have a good understanding of the needs of our fellow Narromine residents and the issues faced by local businesses and farmers,” Ms Wren said.

“Narromine is a great place to live and work, and we will be looking at ways we can support the local community over the coming months.”
