McWhirter wins on 24 points

12/06/2008 9:27:00 AM
Just 12 starters today braved the elements to play the back nine, where Tom McWhirter with 24 points finally won a frozen budgie.

In second place with 23 points, always in contention, came Gordon Whiteman “he must be on good terms with the handicapper”.

Nearest the pins were Nifty Norm Lewis, but he missed the birdie.

Pool results

Only three pairs contended with each pair having one win and one draw, therefore the competition was declared null and void.

Hopefully this week we’ll get a result.
