Riders represent school

23/05/2008 11:46:00 AM
On Friday May 9 Trangie Central School Equestrian Team travelled to Mendooran to compete in the annual Mendooran Central School Horse Sports Carnival.

The team consisted of Tori Dunn, Bree Dunn and Ashley Jenkins.

The day began with riding classes. Our girls were teamed with girls from other schools to compete in the team of four, as well as the pair of riders. Bree Dunn came away with a third ribbon for the pairs.

The afternoon was taken up with sporting events and both Ashley Jenkins and Bree Dunn did exceptionally well. Bree received a fourth place in the keyhole event, while Ashley picked up second place in the time trial, handy mount and bending and a fourth place in the barrel race.

The girls presented themselves well and were a credit to the school.
