A 4BBB was held in conjunction with trophies donated by Frank Cross Tyres.

Winner of the Monthly Medal was Bruce Fidock with a handy net 66. He will now go into the play-off for the Yearly Medal next month.

The 4BBB was won by Greg and Justin Rankmore with 44 pts. Ball winners were Geoff Smith and Bill Duncan on 43 pts, followed by Colonel Montgomery and Gary Sand on 42 pts. Nearest the pin on the 6th went to Bruce Fidock.

Saturday September 13 was round one of the members Foursomes Championships over 18 holes with sponsorship by Don McKinnon. Nine teams took to the field in warm, windy conditions.

Winners on the day were Ray Hohnberg and Rob Pither with 85 scratch for a net 65.

Ball winners were Hugh Irving and Scott Macdougall, Geoff Smith and Ian Cameron.

Nearest the pins were Ian Cameron on the third and Hugh Irving on the 6th hole.

Hohnberg and Pither lead at the end of round one and it looks as though a couple of the more fancied teams will have to find another gear in the cart to run them down.

Round two of 36 holes was to be run on Sunday September 14 but much welcome heavy rain has seen this postponed until Sunday September 28.
