Golf day success

Trangie Golf Club held a very successful weekend of golf last weekend.

Saturday saw about 60 players hit the course in terrific conditions for the Mixed Foursomes.

Sunday saw the main event, the Trangie Men's Golf Open with a massive 117 players taking to the course from 20 clubs from throughout NSW.

The greens were in wonderful condition, thanks to house convenor Craig Davies for his maintenance of the course through often difficult Trangie conditions.

Kevin Taylor of Warren won the 'Lucky Players Card' draw of a luxury trip for two to Fiji for five nights including a round of golf on a Greg Norman designed golf course.

The fantastic prize was donated by former Trangie girl Ms Joy Kinsey of Harvey World Travel (Warringah Mall).
