On Tuesday September 9, with more pleasant weather, Narromine women bowlers competed in a friendly match against Dubbo City for the Una Dalton Trophy. It was a very enjoyable day with Narromine being the victors for this year with 80 points to 64.

We now hold this trophy until we meet again next year. After a lovely lunch Dubbo City vice president, Marj Quinlan, officially passed the trophy over to Narromine president Brenda Carter.

Raffle winners were Maureen Taylor and Yvonne Monaghan.

Congratulations to Rosalie Woods who celebrated a special birthday on September 8.

The next quarterly meeting will be on September 22. A good roll-up would be appreciated.
